Woo-Hoo FTF and first to log completely.. I haven't been to this zoo for a long long time.. It's actually a nice exhibit now.. Not as nice as the Toronga Zoo in Sydney that I went to a few months ago.. Errors were made but fixed promptly.. Traded Jeeps forgot to leave off a geocoin so went back and left it off.. Also left some Australian coinage with some platypus on them.

Yup spent at least an hour checking around the entrance, using mirrors, metal detectors etc. I think the owner will be raising the difficulty level abit. Always good to meet new cachers at a cache site.. So WH this CO-FTF was well deserved.. SL I was hoping for a shopping spree at the store we were at as a FTF prize.

In some parts of the country this might go unsolved for weeks but not here. I was hoping to get a nice walk in the woods with this one.. I thought they only had these type of hides in the big city.. I solved the first part of the puzzle in 5 minutes the second part in another 5 minutes. Driving out to the land of Issy took me 20 minutes. Being stealthy in looking for the "Joy" took 40 minutes. Thanks for the fun puzzle SL was going to leave a geocoin, but container wasn't big enough..

What can I say about this other than it was anticlimactic.. I had solved the puzzle almost a year ago and was waiting to get back over here to get it. Since I was getting some other caches on the Island today I decided the time was right.. As I got to GZ I started smelling something, it seems like everyone uses this area as a urinal, in fact the ivy was still streaming. I called a friend to confirm the location and I was there. I might be back sometime.

I suspected what might be here and I brought a metal detector with me.. I found a bunch of metal at GZ but no cache. I'm buddies with the last finder and gave him a geocall, it lead me to an area that recently looks like someone dropped a bunch of yard debris mixed in with dog poop.. I didn't do any digging around..

OK time to turn my frownie into a smile.. As I unconditionally trust GG Coords I could see getting the last 30 feet to the cache would be the hardest. As I would inch closer to GZ the person guarding the pipe welding machine would walk towards me.. So once again I would have to look at various flotsam and jetsam.. or pretend I was looking at the pretty sunset. Once at GZ I had the container uncovered quickly SL and rehid and once again as quickly I was asked to leave the area. As they started to weld yet another section of sewer pipe together. At least this cache container shouldn’t walk away.. TFTC Congrats to CENT5 for the FTF. You would think that from my record of going into Cobra infested Terrorist targets for a FTF that a mere Trail Closed sign wouldn't deter me..

I not sure when GG placed the latest HoneyBucket of joy down here. But the whole Lincoln Park Promenade area is closed off with at least 750ft of 36inch high bright orange barriers. You can still walk on the grass next to the access road. The whole Coleman Pool area is closed. OK with all the warnings out of the way I'll tell you my story. Being the Tiresome type of person that I am I wasn't about ready to let a nearby FTF fall to someone else. So I loaded up the waypoint and printed a aerial photo of the area with detailed lines arrows and circles pointing to the “Tool Area”. I got down to the Promenada area and things were all amiss. Trail closed signs here and there and not making much sense as to where. So I decided to make an assult by sea..(or least the beach area.) As I rounded the point what did I see at GZ but an 18" Seam-welder a huffing and puffing going hither and tither. Trying to keep all of Seattles brown gold in its proper place. At that point I was asked to leave the area.. FTDNF
